Reagan was first appointed to the King County Council in February, 2005 to fill the vacancy created by Rob McKenna’s election as Washington State Attorney General. Reagan was then elected in November, 2005 and re-elected in 2009 with 78 percent of the vote. He now represents more than 220,000 citizens in Southeast King County.
